Once every thousand years, when the two suns align, a mortal touched by the gods descends upon the Amaranth Empire. The emperor has decreed: whichever of his five princess-daughters marries the god-touched Descender inherits the throne. You wake in the empire with no idea of your fate, or that five princesses (Iris, Dahlia, Jasmine, Camille, and Rose) are already hunting for you, each needing to claim you to win the crown. Chase power, avoid it, or get crushed beneath it. The chase has already begun.
